Talk details:

Quantum simulation of gauge theory dynamics and particle collisions

Quantum simulators have become powerful tools for probing non-equilibrium many-body dynamics, from thermalization to hydrodynamics. Beyond condensed matter, they offer a frontier for exploring quantum matter in extreme conditions like those of high-energy collisions. In this talk, framing particle collisions as a many-body problem, I will review progress in classical and quantum simulation. I will then present a novel protocol to realize these dynamics in current quantum architectures.
