The Equal Opportunities Working Party and Working Group on Equal Treatment Issues (OeAW) deal with questions and concerns related to equal treatment of employees, regardless of sex, gender, ethnic origin, religion, age or sexual orientation.
This website provides tips and information and the most important contact points for working and studying successfully together.
Additionally, as members of the Vienna Doctoral School in Physics (VDSP), PhD students can also take advantage of its services. In particular, services such as the Mentoring Scheme and Individual Coaching are intended to support professional development and mental well-being of the student (further info at VDSP website / About us / VDSP internal).
For OeAW students:
- The OeAW offers the following mentoring program, for young researchers to develop mentoring relationships with more experienced researchers at the OeAW: https://www.oeaw.ac.at/intern/oeaweb/arbeitskreis-fuer-gleichbehandlungsfragen/mentoringprogramm.
- For issues relating to mental health, OEAW employees can contact Arbeitspsychologe Dr. Tobias Glück at t.glueck@ibg.at.
- For issues relating to the workplace, you could contact Jovana (HR), either in her office on the 3rd floor of IQOQI, or at Jovana.Stojanovic@oeaw.ac.at.
For Univie students: In case of workplace conflicts or issues related to your mental well-being, you may contact Verena Paulovics (verena.paulovics@univie.ac.at), who will guide you to the appropriate office that can provide the necessary support. Your concerns and personal data will be handled with absolute confidentiality and anonymity.
