Fraom the Airport (VIE)…

… take the City Airport Train (CAT: follow the green sign posts) to the City Air Terminal near the Hilton Hotel and change to the underground U3 directed „Simmering“, going to Schlachthausgasse station. Walk up the Markhofgasse exit and get on one of the buses 77A (direction Lusthaus) or 80A (direction Praterstern) for two stations to Schüttelstraße station. You can as well walk via Schlachthausgasse and Stadionbrücke, this will take about ten minutes.
In case you prefer going by taxi cab, be prepared for costs of about 30 EUR. Driving with a rented car, take the A4 (airport highway) from the airport in Vienna direction, following it to the „Erdberg“ exit. Turn right to enter the Stadionallee, at the right after the bus stop is the institute gateway.

From Hauptbahnhof…

… take the tramway 18 directed „Schlachthausgasse“ to the end of the line (Schlachthausgasse – U3). From there, get on one of the buses 77A (direction Lusthaus) or 80A (direction Praterstern) for two stations to Schüttelstraße station. You can as well walk via Schlachthausgasse and Stadionbrücke, this will take about ten minutes.

From Westbahnhof…

… take the underground U3 (directed „Simmering“) to Schlachthausgasse station, walk up the Markhofgasse exit and get on one of the buses 77A (direction Lusthaus) or 80A (direction Praterstern) for two stations to Schüttelstraße station.
